Hello again after a long pause.
As I’ve always said – I only write when I really feel like it, as I don’t want to create something forced. I need to feel it. So, that’s why I took a little break from the blog in the past weeks. I am, however, active on Instagram, so don’t forget to follow me there!
Anyway, let’s get to the point!
My personal favourite this month has been this lovely piece by DW Candles, that I picked up from TK Maxx during our Halloween shopping spree. Apart from the obviously awesome design (Witch. Please.), the scent (apple pumpkin) is amazing and it fills the whole house. Also it burns very evenly and even though I’m lighting it pretty much every day, I’m still not even halfway through.
Georgi Georgiev Wedding Photography
Well, that’s perhaps more wedding-related, but we got our photos this month and I absolutely love them. Choosing photographer was probably the hardest task for me, as I am quite picky when it comes to pictures and their quality, but I really couldn’t be happier with Georgi’s work!
Method Daily Surface Cleaner
It turned out that with the upgrade to a “wife” comes a package of cleaning skills in my case (I have gone completely mad and if you’re following me on Instagram, you know it…). I’ve been trying out so many different products, but I’m also trying to find non-toxic (not a fan of breathing in chemicals…), sustainable and eco-friendly options to minimise at least my impact on the environment. It has not been easy, let me tell you! Still, most of my supplies are not as Earth-friendly as I would like them to be, but I’m trying to improve. Method, however, offer great range of “clean” cleaning products and their Method Daily Kitchen Surface Cleaner Clementine, 828ml is the first one that I’ve tried. Absolutely love it and can’t wait to try some more of them! Meanwhile, let me know if you’d like to see more of my cleaning madness…
On the topic of home cleaning and organisation (and me being the perfect (wanna-be) housewife…while still working 10 hours a day 😀 ), I would also like to share my best friends recently. Baskets. Any shape and form, those particular ones are from HomeBargains and come in a set of 3 for something around £5. The only thing I’m trying to avoid, is buying plastic – anything else works – paper, wood, wicker… I can share in a separate post how I organise the baskets, if that’s something you’d like to see, this is an example from my bathroom – in the left basket I keep styling products and personal care items, while in the right one I store my day-to-day cleaning bits.
And last, but not least…if you haven’t yet started watching The Haunting of Hill House…Go. Now.
