What has happened to the time – I do not know, but January is nearly gone and I haven’t done a favourites post in a while, so…there we go!
Let’s begin with the beauty stuff, as initially this blog started as a beauty blog and then turned into…I don’t even know what 😀
This month we have ONE photo of all the beauty products because I’m too lazy to shoot them separately. So I convinced myself this is just as good.
Vichy Idealia Peeling – I fell in love with this product after receiving a sample and I forced my dear man to get it for me for Christmas (meaning I ordered it, paid with his credit card and once it arrived, he wrapped it in gift paper). Now, I cannot describe this product. It is not a cleansing water, it is not a tonic, it is not a serum. It just strips all the dead cells from your face and you wake up with the smoothest softest skin. Recently I’ve had problems with tiny little spots and areas with very dry and flakey skin and this is the only product that resolves them!
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base – You know when you try to apply foundation and it just clings to any single dry patch on your face? Not an issue anymore. This miracle in a pot mysteriously appeared at my door one day and I have been loving it! It makes your skin smooth and moisturised, does not feel oily and somehow in the same time is…kinda fresh? It’s formulated with Vitamin B, C and E, Shea butter, grapefruit and geranium and it is absolutely fabulous!
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – Pretty much everyone, who uses make up, has probably heard of it. Yes, it is amazing. Is it similar to the L’oreal Paradise mascara? Yes. Is it better? Yes. ’nuff said.
Omorovicza Deep Cleaning Mask – I got this last year as a gift from The National Wedding Show and just now decided to try it out. It is stunning! Leaves your skin so clean and in the same time does not dry it out. I’m actually going to pamper myself again today as the weather outside is gloomy, there is some sort of a storm going on and I am not stepping my foot out of the house! Only negative thing about it? Bloody expensive.
On to the non-beauty favourites!
Since Christmas I’ve been enjoying those very stylish glasses by RÖD Wine. I know, I know, what could possibly be that cool about glasses. Well, first – the packaging. They came in the most gorgeous box (a set of 3 glasses) that I had really hard time throwing away (but did in the end, as I’m trying to quit keeping product packaging just because it’s cute). They are very durable, made from titanium crystal, so they have survived even my stubborn practice of washing everything in the dishwasher. So if you’re looking to get some new additions for your home and you love wine, I ordered mine from Amazon.
And last, but not least, a board game! Mysterium is interesting, captivating, exciting…and a pain to set up. But after you get through the initial confusion and get into the game play, it is fantastic! The goal is to solve the mystery (duh) and it requires making associations to guess the clues…well, just go and read the description, last time I played it I’d had around a bottle and a half of champagne, so I cannot give you adequate details, but it was very fun and I can’t wait to gather the friends to play again (possibly sober this time).
If you enjoy reading my monthly favourites articles, please let me know in the comments below, so I can plan on writing them on regular basis…or perhaps not? 🙂
Have a smashing week!
