I’ve been stuck recently.
When it comes to my blog, I mean.
I’ve promised myself that I will never write a post just because I have to. It needs to be because I want to. So, the past couple of months have been quite busy and full of changes, which made it almost impossible for me to sit down and pull my thoughts together. And despite the fact that I have a fully ready post to publish (hint with the photo below), I decided to just write this one first, give a little update and then go on with the other topics.
So, what’s been going on?
I changed my job!
No, I haven’t decided to ditch the veterinary profession, I just changed the company I work for. I spent two years with my previous employer and it was time to move on and look for another challenge. I’m now on my 3rd week at the new place and so far I don’t have a single reason to regret my decision – my colleagues are lovely and the clinic is quite busy, so I am learning new things every day. You know that feeling when you’re extremely tired but in the same time happy that you’ve made difference and your work matters? That’s how I feel in the evening, when I come home. And so far I like it.
We have a wedding date!
Sh*t got real, we now have booked our venue and we have a date! I’m not going to be sharing it here just now, but probably will do so closer to the wedding. Trust me, guest lists, menus and cocktails can be a proper torture sometimes, we still have a lot of details to arrange, but we’re getting there (Mother seems to be quite good at nudging me). Small hint for now – the wedding is going to be in Bulgaria!
If you haven’t read my blog post about the bridesmaids’ invitations, you can find it here.
Wind in my hair!
Yeah, we had some strong winds on the island recently, but that’s not what I mean. It was time for me and the fiance to upgrade our car situation, so after some discussions what he wants and what I want, lots of google-ing and a few emails, we’re now proud to have the new addition to the family. A cabriolet. If you would like to read more about that, let me know in the comments!
Those are pretty much the highlights of what’s been going on in the past months, if you’d like to keep up to date, follow my Instagram, as I post stories almost every day 🙂
Let me know what posts you’d like to see here in future!
